ThaiAirAsia Partnered with TAT for 2nd year of "Journey D" Under "Village to the World" Campaign, Driving Sustainable Community Tourism in Songkhla

1–2 July 2026 – Thai AirAsia and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) continued the "Journey D" project under the "Village to the World" campaign for a second year. We visited the Hua Khao Community and the Khlong Hoi Khong Farm in Songkhla to help develop sustainable community tourism.
At the Hua Khao Community, Thai AirAsia and TAT promoted sustainable tourism by learning about the local lifestyle. Activities included a sidecar motorcycle tour, a Kai Krob workshop, and supporting the change of local Bai Khlu into Kombucha tea to add value to local wisdom and bring stable income to the community through exports.
Thai AirAsia also talked with community leaders and members to get feedback on the project's benefits and impacts for long-term planning. They also held workshops on storytelling and service to help locals improve their tourism skills.
Next, the team visited the Royal-Initiated Model Farm Project at Khlong Hoi Khong, a learning center for local organic farming, to do good activities for society. We built and gave beehives to the community to protect the environment and make extra money from local beekeeping. This visit also helped promote the farm to make it more famous among tourists and the public.
This partnership combines the strengths of Thai AirAsia and TAT with local skills to boost the local economy and support sustainable tourism with the community.
