To commemorate this global recognition, the airline has unveiled a stunning new aircraft livery themed “Still Winning, Still Gold,” symbolising its enduring excellence, strength, and the trust of close to a billion passengers since its inception in 2001.

The newly branded golden aircraft made its debut flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Krabi, Thailand, carrying a delegation of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and social media influencers from 13 countries including the Philippines, Australia, India, China, Cambodia, Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. More than just a new look, the golden livery is a tribute to the loyalty and confidence of travelers who have made AirAsia their airline of choice for over two decades.

The launch celebration in Krabi was made possible with strong support from Krabi International Airport and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Krabi Office, with a warm and festive welcome extended to the special guests. The golden aircraft is now part of AirAsia’s fleet and will take to the skies across the airline’s vast network, proudly showcasing its award-winning status.
