Bangkok, 3 December 2025 – AirAsia is kicking off December in full swing with five brand-new routes across AirAsia Thailand and AirAsia X Thailand, giving travelers more choices than ever for year-end adventures.

Starting today, Thai AirAsia X (XJ) introduces three direct international routes from Bangkok Don Mueang to Sendai (Japan) – 4 flights weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun), Bangkok Don Mueang to Almaty (Kazakhstan) – 4 flights weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun) and Bangkok Don Mueang to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – 4 flights weekly (Tue/Thu/Sat/Sun)

Meanwhile, Thai AirAsia (FD) expands domestic and regional connectivity with Chiang Mai–Udon Thani – 4 flights weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun), and Bangkok Don Mueang–Luang Prabang–Hanoi (Fifth Freedom route) – commencing from 1 December 2025 onwards

All five inaugural flights were warmly welcomed by airports and government partners with fun on-ground activities, special souvenirs, and celebratory greetings for passengers.
